About

About GetConstructionWebsite: the company behind the schedule

GetConstructionWebsite is a website design and management company that works only with US general contractors and construction firms. We build, host and run their websites on one monthly fee, with the build fee charged only after the site is live and approved.

Who we are

Who is behind GetConstructionWebsite?

A remote team of web designers, developers and writers operating as GetConstructionWebsite. The team builds every page, writes the service, town and article content, runs hosting on Cloudflare, configures the AI Engine and answers the client portal.

We work for clients across the United States, with business hours of 9:00 to 17:00 Central Time, Monday to Friday, and our terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Articles on client sites are bylined to two editorial personas, introduced further down this page, rather than to named staff.

Focus

Why do we only build for contractors?

Because a construction website has its own rules, and learning them once for every client makes every client's site better. Scope of work, tenant improvements, change orders, punch lists, permitting jurisdictions, license display: we write in that vocabulary from the first draft, and we know which pages a GC needs before you tell us.

Method

How we work

How we run your website, as a schedule: one onboarding call; a build measured in days; weekly updates after launch; revisions in working days.
  • One onboarding call

We fill in the gaps left by the onboarding form and agree a launch date together.

  • A build measured in days

Not months. The plan you choose sets the exact number of days to launch.

  • Weekly updates after launch

The site keeps changing in small, real ways, logged in your client portal.

  • Revisions in working days

Turned around within 2 to 5 working days, not weeks.

Values

What we value

  • Answer first

On your site and in our emails, the first sentence answers the question. Contractors are busy; buyers are too.

  • No surprise invoices

One monthly fee, a $697 build fee charged only after you approve the site, and every other cost stated before you buy.

  • Promises we can check

A 90+ PageSpeed score and a local ranking window written into our terms, not implied in a sales call.

  • Honest about limits

We say when another option suits you better, we never invent a statistic, and we label sample content as sample content.

Working with us

What can you expect from us?

  • A reply within one working day

From a person, during business hours: 9:00 to 17:00 Central Time, Monday to Friday.

  • A launch date agreed on the first call

7 days on Foundation, 10 on Framing, 15 on Finish Out, counted from the onboarding call.

  • Changes every week

Weekly updates logged in your client portal, so you can see what changed and why.

  • Revisions without an hourly meter

5 a month of any size, each done within 2 to 5 working days.

  • Your domain in your name

And an export of your content within 14 days if you ever leave.

  • No advice outside our lane

We never give construction, permitting, safety or legal advice. That is your expertise, and your license.

Scope

What we are, plainly

  • A website design and management company

We design, build, host and maintain the site. That is the whole business.

  • Not a general contractor

We are not a general contractor, construction firm or licensed builder, and we never give construction, permitting or safety advice.

  • One monthly fee, one build fee

No hosting invoice, no plugin renewals, no hourly billing for changes.

We are not a general contractor, construction firm or licensed builder. Everything your clients rely on you for stays with you; we handle the website.

Compliance, included

Which legal and compliance pages come with the site?

Six, on every plan. They help you meet the obligations a US contractor's website usually carries. They are not legal advice, and your state licensing board's own rules always come first.

  • Privacy policy

Written for how your site actually collects data: estimate forms, the chat agent, analytics. Drafted with state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in mind.

  • Terms of use

Plain terms for visitors using your site, including that project information on the site is general, not a quote.

  • Cookie policy with real consent

The consent banner genuinely blocks analytics and marketing scripts until a visitor agrees. A banner that blocks nothing is worse than none.

  • Accessibility statement

A statement of the standard the site is built to, and how to report a problem. The build itself is made with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and WCAG 2.2 AA in mind: contrast, keyboard access, alt text.

  • License and insurance display

A consistent place for your contractor license numbers and insurance details. Some state contractor licensing boards require the license number on advertising, websites included.

  • Text-message consent wording

Forms that lead to a text or callback carry consent and opt-out wording written with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) in mind, and we file A2P 10DLC carrier registration for text agents.

Bylines

Who writes and builds

Two editorial personas write the articles and guides that run on client sites. They hold no professional licenses and nothing they write is advice for a specific project.

Client reviews

Client reviews of working with us

  • They asked to see the questions customers genuinely ask us about renovation inquiries, which I respected. They identified which questions belonged on the site and we checked every answer before launch. Pointing people to the page has replaced hunting through old emails.

FAQ research and editorial review for renovation inquiries

  • I judge a project by what happens after launch, and the renovation inquiries handover passed. Contacts, change process, post-publication checks: all written down in plain terms. The site survives my holiday now, which it never did before.

Staff handover and maintenance notes for renovation inquiries

  • Our deliberately awkward question was: what if the renovation inquiries form breaks? The answer became a published fallback plus a delivery check we can run ourselves. We now know the fallback exists before the day we need it.
