Design-build process page
A diagram showing phases running under one contract.
Design-build website design has to make the single-contract pitch visible immediately, because the biggest risk for a design-build firm's site is describing design and construction as two separate services and undercutting the reason a client should hire one firm for both.
What it costs
Ground conditions
Prospects ask whether you are an architect, a builder or both.
Your process is explained in a paragraph instead of a diagram.
Case studies show finished photos but none of the design decisions.
Buyers ask for a price before they understand how design-build handles budget.
Who it is for
Design-build firms, residential and commercial, whose buyers do not yet understand why one contract for design and construction is different, and who need the site to explain it before a competitor with a traditional bid does.
01
The homepage and a dedicated process page frame design and construction as phases of a single engagement, with the handoff between them made explicit, rather than as two separate service listings that read like two separate hires.

02
A design-build firm can show early design decisions alongside the finished project, something a single-scope contractor cannot do. Case studies are written to include that design story, not just after photos of the completed build.
03
A dedicated page explains, in general terms, how a single-contract design-build process narrows budget uncertainty earlier than a traditional two-contract bid process, without quoting a number for any specific project.

Client reviews
Our old change process for renovation inquiries content was informal to the point of folklore. Approval and publication both refer to the same recorded version now. The follow-up email chains that used to accompany every edit have gone.
Content approvals and change requests for renovation inquiries
I judge a project by what happens after launch, and the renovation inquiries handover passed. Contacts, change process, post-publication checks: all written down in plain terms. The site survives my holiday now, which it never did before.
Staff handover and maintenance notes for renovation inquiries
We expected a prettier website; what we actually use every day is the new form. It asks for project location, work scope and proposed start month before anything is sent, which is the information we used to chase by email. The first message is usually enough to act on now.

Risk, reversed
Then the work continues at our cost, not yours. The guarantees below are written into our terms, with their limits stated as plainly as the promises.
The $697 build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you have told us you are satisfied with it.
On mobile and desktop for pages we build and host. If a page falls below it because of our work, we fix it at no charge.
If your site is not ranking for local searches in your area within 3 to 5 months of launch, we keep doing the search work at no extra charge until it is.
The domain is registered in your name. Leave, and we transfer it free and export your content within 14 days.
Month to month. Cancel by email with 2 business days notice before your next invoice and no further invoice is raised.
Neither guarantee covers changes you or third parties make, content published against our advice, or rankings for terms outside your area or services. The remedy is the corrective work, not a refund: all sales are final, except a duplicate or incorrect charge made by us. Full detail in the terms and the refund policy.
Weighing it up
With a dedicated page and typically a process diagram, showing design and construction as phases of one contract rather than two separate hires.
Yes, and that is specifically what sets a design-build case study apart from a single-scope contractor's portfolio.
Yes, when a firm does both, because the buyers and proof points differ.
Yes, in general terms describing how the process affects budget certainty, never as a quote for a specific project.
With a phase-by-phase page that shows design and construction under one contract, who the buyer deals with at each stage, and how budget is managed as decisions are made. We write and illustrate it from your actual process.
Yes, on separate pages, because their questions are different. Each has its own examples and vocabulary.
Yes. We build it into the page as part of the site, from the phases you describe during onboarding.
On Framing and Finish Out it can answer common questions about how design-build works with you, take down project goals and rough timeline, and book the first meeting. It never discusses a specific budget or design.
A live walkthrough of the site you would get, in about 30 minutes. Plans from $127 a month, the $697 build fee invoiced only after launch, domain and hosting included.
