general contractor website design

General contractor website design built around the projects you actually bid

General contractor website design means a page for every service you bid, a page for every town you serve, and an estimate form that lands in your CRM rather than an inbox, not a single homepage describing "construction services" in general terms.

What it costs

  • Plans$127 a month
  • Build fee$697, after launch
  • Live in7 days
  • Revisions5 a month
  • Domain and hostingIncluded

Who it is for

Who is general contractor website design for?

Owners and estimators at general contracting firms, from a single crew doing additions and remodels to a firm running several commercial jobs at once, who want estimate and bid requests from search rather than a brochure that only people who already know them will ever open.

We build for contractors across the United States, including Texas, Florida, California, Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia, and every town page we write names the places you actually work.

Ground conditions

Signs you need it

  • Your site has one "services" page that tries to cover everything you build.

  • You cannot name a single search your site ranks for in the towns you work in.

  • Estimate requests arrive by email and wait until someone is back in the office.

  • The newest project on the site is older than your newest truck.

01

Designed around how buyers actually search

A homeowner searching for a kitchen remodel and a developer searching for a ground-up commercial build are looking for different proof, even though both might describe you as a "general contractor." The design starts from your actual service list and service area, not a generic template, so the pages that exist match the searches your buyers actually run.

  • A dedicated page per service you bid
  • A dedicated page per town or county served
  • A project gallery organized by scope and scale
Built around how buyers search: a page per service you bid; a page per town or county; a gallery by scope and scale.

02

Fast on a phone, on a job site connection

General contractor sites get browsed from trucks and job sites as often as from an office. Every page is custom coded rather than assembled from a page builder, ships almost no JavaScript, and carries a guaranteed 90+ PageSpeed score, so the estimate form is one tap away instead of loading behind a slow hero video.

03

One accent, one system, both light and dark

The design uses your brand colors against a clean, legible layout rather than stock construction imagery and generic gold-and-black templates. It reads as a specific business, not a category, and looks correct whether a visitor's device is set to light or dark mode.

Risk, reversed

What if the site does not deliver?

Then the work continues at our cost, not yours. The guarantees below are written into our terms, with their limits stated as plainly as the promises.

  • The build fee comes last

The $697 build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you have told us you are satisfied with it.

  • 90+ PageSpeed, guaranteed

On mobile and desktop for pages we build and host. If a page falls below it because of our work, we fix it at no charge.

  • Local rankings in a stated window

If your site is not ranking for local searches in your area within 3 to 5 months of launch, we keep doing the search work at no extra charge until it is.

  • Your domain, your content

The domain is registered in your name. Leave, and we transfer it free and export your content within 14 days.

  • No long contract

Month to month. Cancel by email with 2 business days notice before your next invoice and no further invoice is raised.

  • The limits, plainly

Neither guarantee covers changes you or third parties make, content published against our advice, or rankings for terms outside your area or services. The remedy is the corrective work, not a refund: all sales are final, except a duplicate or incorrect charge made by us. Full detail in the terms and the refund policy.

Client reviews

Client reviews from contractors like you

  • We expected a prettier website; what we actually use every day is the new form. It asks for project location, work scope and proposed start month before anything is sent, which is the information we used to chase by email. The first message is usually enough to act on now.
Monica NewburyOperations coordinator, Structural alteration specialistStamford, CT · Foundation plan

Inquiry form and response workflow for renovation inquiries

  • The renovation inquiries preparation page does one job and does it well. It tells people what to have ready before we speak, without demanding everything up front. It has replaced the hurried afternoon rewrite of the same instructions.
Sami OdehBusiness coordinator, Insurance repair works contractorSavannah, GA · Foundation plan

Preparation guide and inquiry support for renovation inquiries

  • The idea that visitors could sort themselves before writing seemed obvious only in hindsight. Visitors choose what they are doing first, and each choice leads to a fit-for-purpose form. Our inbox finally reads like the conversations it actually contains.

Questions about general contractor website design

How is this different from a template site?

The pages are built around your actual services and towns rather than a fixed set of placeholder sections you fill in later. A template forces your business into its structure; this starts from your business.

Can the design match our existing logo and colors?

Yes. Your brand colors and logo are used throughout, set up during onboarding, so the site reads as your business rather than a generic construction template with your name swapped in.

Do you design for both residential and commercial general contractors?

Yes. The page structure and vocabulary differ between the two, and the design reflects whichever, or both, you actually do.

How long does the design and build take?

Live in 7 days on the entry tier from the onboarding call, 10 or 15 days on higher tiers while the AI agents are trained or the content engine is set up.

What pages does a general contractor website need?

At minimum: a home page, a page for each service you bid, a page for each town or county you serve, a project gallery sorted by scope, an about page with your license and insurance details, and an estimate request page connected to your CRM. That is the structure we build on every plan.

Do you design for contractors in my state?

Yes. We build for general contractors across the United States, including Texas, Florida, California, Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia. The town pages we write for you name the places and permitting jurisdictions you actually work in.

Can the site show our contractor license number?

Yes, and it should. Some state licensing boards require the license number on advertising, websites included. We give it a consistent place on every page along with your insurance details.

Will you write the copy or do we?

We write it, in your trade vocabulary, from the onboarding form and one call. You approve every page before launch and can change anything afterwards as a revision.
